The Choir
Women of Note is an auditioned community choir in Winnipeg, Manitoba for women who love to sing. Founded in 1994 by Artistic Director Patricia Rabson, WoN provides an opportunity for women of all levels of choral experience to work together to "make a joyful noise". With three diverse performance ensembles, WoN provides an enriched choral experience suited to the talents and personal needs of each and every member.

WoN Chorale
An ensemble of 50 voices for women who have varying levels of choral skills and limited time to dedicate to extracurricular activities.

WoN Chamber Singers
An ensemble of 24 voices for experienced singers who have the time and skills required to develop a challenging and eclectic repertoire.

WoN Massed Choir
The combined voices of WoN Chorale and WoN Chamber Signers showcases the united talents of all choir members in the dynamic, expressive performance of large choral works.

Our Mission
The Women of Note Choir provides an opportunity for women to come together and make beautiful music, develop musicianship and vocal/choral excellence in a high-caliber performance choir, and foster friendship among choristers.
